Floral Body Adornment Community Event

$44.00

This event is community care and intentional connection in the form of tenderly holding space, making art, and being inspired by the person in front of you.

We’ll gather at my Philadelphia studio for an afternoon of connecting community care. Dried flowers and light refreshments will be provided!

Each of us will have a chance to be doted on by the rest of the folks attending — we’ll lovingly look at you, see you, be inspired by you, and make art on your body by adorning you with flowers in response to that inspiration. It’s tender and sweet and so so so powerful.

This event will be capped at a total of 8 people, including me.

***Keep in mind, at this gathering it is expected that the people attending will be doing their own work around recognizing their own privileged identities, being mindful of the space they take up in conversations accordingly, are invested in disrupting white supremacy, and recognize that while people of all sizes experience body image issues, the experiences of people in larger fat bodies versus smaller fat or straight sized bodies are vastly different. Please remember that this is a gender diverse space, so please be familiar with using They/Them pronouns and gender-neutral language.***
